In the heart of Old Cairo, specifically in the Al-Azhar district, our great-grandfather Ouf began his journey as a wholesale fabric merchant.

In those days, fabric was sold only as a Whole , leaving no room for small buyers.

But Ouf was no ordinary merchant. He saw what others didn't and did what others didn't dare.

He picked up the scissors, unraveled the fabric,

and began selling it by the meter for the first time in the Egyptian market.

A small decision… but it changed the culture of an entire market.

And opened the door to livelihood for hundreds of families.

At first, the merchants mocked him,

but years later… they began to imitate him.

And so, Ouf's name became synonymous with innovation, vision, and his closeness to the people.

With success, tests emerge

Ouf was the target of a notorious conspiracy by a rival to imprison him, in an attempt to cast doubt on his integrity and financial probity.

But what the envious failed to realize was that the reputation of a true gentleman is stronger than any plot.

The story reached Egyptian radio, and was immortalized in the famous song
